Children's Sunday School

Sunday school begins at 9:15 in Room 10 with songs of praise and thanksgiving. Also, during this time the children practice performances that they will present during future church services. At 9:30 the children then move to their classrooms for the day's lessons. Each class has a teacher and a teacher helper. Living the Good News, a lectionary-based curriculum, is used. A variety of activities are planned to make these experiences meaningful and enjoyable to each child. Children are encouraged to think of others by bringing canned goods for the needy and participating in outreach projects for shut-ins. Sunday School concludes at 10:15.

Every month that there is a fifth Sunday of the month, our 8:00 and 10:30 services are combined and we have one church service at 9:30. On these occasions the Sunday School children participate by presenting offertory songs, helping with ushering duties, taking up the baskets of food for the needy, and various other duties during the church service.

Our Sunday School teachers are dedicated and enjoy working with children. They meet once a month to pray, plan, study, and share ideas. They attend Christian Education workshops offered by the Diocese.

Vacation Bible School

Evening Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children and adults is offered during the month of July. This program has been very successful in the past plans are to continue this evening VBS program. This format has been found to be very beneficial in that it allows participation by both adults and children.

WOW Program

W.O.W. is THE place to be on Wednesday evenings! We start at 6:00 pm with dinner and fellowship (sometimes potluck, sometimes catered, always good!), followed at 6:45 with praise music and our super programs. The catered dinners are only $5 each, or $10 for your immediate family.
